Kershaw-Emerson Auto Commander!

A friend brought this to my attention. Looks like this Emerson/Kershaw collaboration should be available very soon.

Emerson's Commander has a huge following in military, LE and civilian circles. No doubt a push button auto version will be a huge seller. I'm thinking the build quality will be similar to some of Kershaw/Zero Tolerance's pricier auto knives, based on the looks, and the fact that it's coming out of the same US factory in Oregon. Pretty cool.

i don't know where else to leave this... but your blog rocks. And you have outstanding taste in music and films as well. With the notable exception of "The Big Lebowski" and the band "Ween". I recommend "executive edge" pen style knives. from brazil, very hard to find. Usally only carry them in formal suit or tux. keep it up. good stuff.

I picked up one of the proto auto commanders at the BLADE show in Atlanta, and all I have to say is it is an awesome knife! I collection rare Emerson Commanders(I have about 23 of them) and Kershaw hit a grand slam with this one. That action is FAST, and it locks up hard! It the price they are selling for, I will pick up another one as soon as they come out.
